Colorit

Colorit is a ceramic-reinforced composite material,
which is adhesive, scratch, impact and wear resistant.
The variety of colours is huge, because you can mix every colour yourself, just like enamel.

Compared to enamel, colorite is much more robust and workable.
The work piece is after a Colorit treatment
can be further ground, matted and also polished like the metal itself.

A further advantage is,
that the material hardens with blue light and not with heat.
This allows the repair of minor defects and enamel work.

Work pieces can also still be galvanized.

Thanks to our casting machine, we are able to produce everything in the shortest time.
Through a lot of elaborate work, we create for you an exact model from wax.
This can be changed and adapted as desired.
If it finally suits you, it will be made for you.

We are also in possession of a 3D printer,
with which we can create even the most abstract piece of jewelry.
There are no limits to the imagination!

For each request from our customers we always provide several proposals for solutions.
There are usually several approaches, but each has its advantages and disadvantages.

Special techniques:

In addition to the known materials we offer
a special forging technique called "Mokume Gane".

This is an elaborate shcmiede technique,
which has its origin in Japan.
With this technique your piece gets a unique character,
because each pattern is unique and can be copied.

The metal has an appearance similar to a wood grain.
This pattern is obtained by means of differently applied
Forging, etching and engraving techniques.

Furthermore we have an engraving machine in our workshop
with which we can engrave everything for you,
up to the size of a plate.

Picking up stones:

Thanks to an intensive and detailed training
we grasp all the stones we provide or accept independently.

No matter what size or shape the stone (or tooth) has,
we'll give him a proper frame.
This is handmade and afterwards the object is not glued,
but with a setter hammer, presser, graver and other setting tools,
for you.

The price is calculated according to the amount of work involved in the barrel work.
